Boundary Fence Installation
The boundary fencing works involve the installation of secure perimeter solutions to safeguard railway infrastructure and restrict unauthorised access. The typical scope includes:
- Site Preparation: Clearance of vegetation and obstruction along the proposed fence line to allow safe and accurate installation.
- Installation of Access Steps: Supply and installation of safe access steps where required, ensuring compliance with safety and accessibility standards.
- Palisade Fencing Installation: Erection of heavy-duty steel palisade fencing, including posts, pales, rails, and anti-tamper fixings, to provide a robust and long-lasting security boundary.
- Gate Installation: Supply and installation of palisade gates to suit the operational needs of the site, including pedestrian and vehicular access where necessary.
- Foundations and Fixings: All posts and gates are securely set into concrete foundations, with accurate alignment and level control maintained throughout.
- Finishing and Handover: Final inspection and adjustment of all elements to ensure operational effectiveness and compliance with project specifications, followed by handover documentation.
All fencing works are carried out to the relevant Network Rail and industry safety standards, ensuring durability, functionality, and compliance.
